Vox Gets Skype To Mobile Phones

Vox Lib has released the Vox for Skype, which enables users to access Skype through any fixed or mobile device. Vox for Skype is said to be the solution to work with the estimated two billion mobile devices currently active worldwide. Vox for Skype requires no mobile data plan, mobile browser or software to download or install on the mobile device. It also works regardless of the user's mobile carrier.

With Vox for Skype, users can reportedly call people on their PCs, get presence status, call people by name without having to dial a number, listen to and manage Skype voicemail, initiate Skype to Skype and send SMS messages.

In addition to harnessing the capabilities of Skype on mobile phones, Vox for Skype is expected to enable users to shrink their mobile phone bills and realize savings on long distance calls.
