ELTIMA Software GmbH’s Virtual Modem PRO 2.0 is designed to create software virtual IP-modems and to map them to virtual serial ports in your OS. Emulating standard hardware modems and duplicating functionality, Virtual Modem PRO v2.0 maps virtual IP-modems to virtual serial ports in operating system using Ethernet network. Up to 255 modems can be created in any system. Program is suited for any automation system that collects data from remote hosts using modem and telephone lines such as manufacturing/warehouse DAQ systems, fiscal/data transfers in banking system, and retail management.
