Printronix Launches Printing Technologies Podcast Series

Printronix has launched its Podcast series with original programming for supply-chain operators eager to learn best practices in radio frequency identification (RFID) implementation. Podcasting, a term combining Apple's "iPod" technology and "broadcasting," is a method of publishing mostly audio files to the Internet. The series is hosted by Printronix and includes interviews with RFID experts from Accu-Sort Systems, Hampton Products International and MobileXe.
Podcasts are one of the newest media technologies and an emerging channel to reach business decision-makers in an educational format." The entries now available for downloading are:
"RFID Compliance Labeling" featuring Printronix's Andrew Moore sharing a checklist of items to consider when migrating from slap-and-ship to automated compliance labeling.
"Gotcha's and A-ha's: How Accu-Sort Systems Helps Material Handlers with RFID Implementation" featuring Michael Kuhno discussing do's and don'ts companies must consider before starting an RFID pilot.
"RFID: Where's the Value? The Hampton Products Story" with Brian Millsap sharing why this Wal-Mart supplier volunteered to comply with the retailer's supplier mandate and how Hampton implemented RFID.
"MobileXe Grows Fast with RFID" showcasing Jeffrey Kurschner dispelling some RFID myths affecting small-to-midsize businesses.
