Wire Wound Chip Coils from Murata Suit Circuits

(Product News, 28 Feb 2006)

Murata Electronics North America has introduced a miniature high-frequency wire wound type chip coil (LQW04A series). Measuring 0.8 x 0.4 mm, 03015 EIA sized Series LQW04A features inductance from 1.1-22 nH with inductance tolerance of ±0.5 nH/±5% and Q values ranging from 55-75 in GHz range. Horizontally wound structure minimizes parasitic losses. Coils are suited for high-frequency circuits used in mobile devices such as cell phones and PDAs.
