RF Pocket Reference Oscillator from Crystek Integrates Sinewave SAW Oscillator in SMA Housing

Crystek introduces the RF Pocket Reference Oscillator (RFPRO Series), a frequency control product to integrate a complete True SineWave SAW (surface acoustic wave) oscillator in a rugged SMA housing. Connecting the RFPRO Series’ female SMA side to +3.3Vdc will output a clean -135dBc/Hz phase noise signal at 10Khz offset. In effect, each RFPRO is a fixed-frequency portable signal generator.

Crystek’s RFPRO Series oscillator offers frequency stability of ±150ppm over -20°C to 70°C (operating temperature range rated at -40 to 85C; storage -45 to 90C). RFPRO Series oscillators are available off-the-shelf in 500MHz and 1GHz frequencies output.

The RFPRO Series of oscillators is well-suited for laboratory and test instrument use.
